√ A local student is one who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.

√ An international student is one with a study permit.

A full-time student is a pupil whose Ontario Student Record (OSR) is hosted at Imagine Minds Online School. Such students will complete all the course requirements through BrightKids’ programs and services.

A part-time student is a pupil whose OSR is not hosted at Imagine Minds Online School and is only completing a specific class through our school.

The fastest and least expensive way to register for our online courses is through our school website. Your student account will be set up within 1 business day of the receipt of your information.

Term 1 and Term 2 courses have 5months of instruction.

The summer program courses are 6 weeks long.

Yes. The course content is available 24/7 and can be accessed from any location as long as you have access to a relatively high-speed Internet connection. Please be informed that our e-learning portal might be blocked in countries with limited freedom of Internet use. In such cases, students can access the course through the use of VPN services.

No, all the information needed to complete an online course is shared with you through the e-learning portal.

Your e-learning instructors are all graduates of the Ontario College of Teachers. They are available to you Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For all academic questions, you can reach out to them via the messaging system of the e-portal. In addition, you can schedule yourself for up to 3 student-teacher conferencing during the term.

Students have the option to transfer from one course to another within the first two weeks, at the beginning of each Term. If a student requests a transfer, an administrative fee of $50 will be required to compensate for the administrative work required to make this change.

At the request of a student and at the discretion of the Principal and in consultation with the course instructor and student’s parent, the student might be granted the opportunity to extend the course for a maximum of 4 weeks if such decision is believed to serve the student’s academic interest.

If a student fails to submit evidence of successful completion of prerequisite within the first two weeks of the Semester’s start date, then his/her enrollment in the course will be considered not for credit. All documents can be emailed to info@imagimindacademy.com.

The Term 1 and Term 2 report card are shared with you both as soft and as hard copies. Upon availability, you will receive your report card both as an email (sent to you via the e-learning portal) and as a mail (sent to your home address). If you are a part-time student at BrightKids, a hard copy of your report card will be mailed to your school.
